AREAS LEASED TO PRIVATE UNDERTAKING

In most cases areas already dedicated to specific functions are under leasing process. In order to stimulate competition, the program links concessions to objective results thus creating contractual compensations, so that lessees invest in the areas' and facilities' modernization. Companies require area in which they have interest, their request is subject to analysis and, afterwards, undergoes a process of public hearings and leasing.   Go to the leasings - portuguese
